Karen completed her Real Estate Education at University of British Columbia, Sauder School of Business and holds a Graduate Degree in Leadership from the University of Calgary. Prior to her career in Real Estate she held several positions as an Executive Leader in Public Sector service delivery. Here she was able to develop and hone her above average mediation, problem solving skills and negotiation skills. All helping her to ensure that your Real Estate transaction is success.
Karen is a proud mama to two twenty-something (awesome) kids who are now building their lives in Vancouver BC and is also a step mom to her husband’s two teenagers. When she isn’t buying and selling home for you or herself, you might find her riding a twisty road on her Road King®, racing down a ski hill, trying out a new 17th avenue patio, playing poker, or designing for friends. Karen strives for work-life balance and as a result, will always make sure she has the time and energy to give her all to you when you need it.

I’m writing today about my experience purchasing a home and having Karen Blain as my realtor.
I believe Karen started the process by asking me all the right questions. By the time we were done, she knew exactly what I was looking for and we starting searching for properties together. It was a process of elimination and selection. I found out pretty quickly what were my “must haves”.
Buying a home can be a bit trying as good properties go very quickly. So, Karen wasted no time going to preview places for me. It seemed like she was only working for me.
